Everton could be set to replace Sean Dyche with Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira if prospective new owner John Textor takes over.
According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, the American businessman is a huge fan of Ferreira, 45, who led his side to the title last season.
Textor has seen the Portuguese coach’s impressive work up close as he owns Brazillian side Botafogo as part of his Eagle Holdings empire.
Ferreira is under contract with the Brazilians until the end of 2025 after joining the club from Greek side PAOK back in 2020.

With an impressive 57 per cent win rate since taking over at Palmeiras, Ferreira has overseen a period of remarkable success.
The Brazilian Serie A side have won ten major trophies since 2020, including two Copa Libertadores, the South American version of the Champions League.
It’s been a tricky start to the season for Dyche, with no wins in their opening three games, they currently sit dead last in the Premier League.
Financial troubles, points deductions, a new stadium under construction, and never-ending take-over talks have overshadowed his efforts to keep the Merseyside club in the English top flight.
