Bryan King believes Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be keen to join West Ham United.

The ex-Goodison scout feels that the 27-year-old would be happier living in London.

According to the Daily Mail (16 July), West Ham have held behind-the-scenes discussions about signing Calvert-Lewin.

And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – has suggested that a move could be good for the player at this stage in his career.

“I think Calvert-Lewin would enjoy living in London,” King said.

“If the money is right, I’m sure the player would want to join West Ham United.

“He would also suit West Ham too from a playing point of view. I think he could play for most clubs in the Premier League, to be honest.

“I think it could therefore be an interesting move for him. In addition, I think it would help him to revitalise his career.”

West Ham United to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin?

This could be a move which benefits all parties involved.

West Ham are in desperate need of a striker at the London Stadium, and Calvert-Lewin ticks plenty of boxes.

It would be a good move for the player too, as he would be joining a club which has been fighting higher up the Premier League over the past few seasons.

From the Toffees’ point of view, Calvert-Lewin only has one year left on his deal at Goodison Park.

The player signing a new contract with the club looks unlikely, and as a result, it is more or less now or never for Everton if they want to get a fee for the striker.

In other Everton news, the club have been urged to finalise a takeover after a Dan Friedkin update.
