Exclusive: Everton have told Sean Dyche how many games he has to save his job at Goodison Park

Everton have not exactly had the start to the 2024/25 campaign which their fans will have dreamt of during the summer.

The Toffees actually enjoyed a solid summer when it came to the transfer window with the Blues adding some interesting signings.

However, the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Jake O’Brien are yet to really make an impression at Goodison Park with Sean Dyche slowly introducing both into the starting XI.

With Everton enjoying some time off through the international break, Dyche may now have to consider making some changes with the Toffees having lost all three of their Premier League games.

Going into the game on Saturday against Aston Villa, Everton sick rock bottom of the Premier League with Southampton the only other side yet to put a point on the board.

TBR Football understands that Dyche will be given until the next international break to prove he is still the right man for Everton going forward.

Everton will give Sean Dyche until the next international break

John Textor is in talks to buy the club and publicly has insisted that he is not going to become involved in any major decisions until he has the keys for Goodison Park.

However, it is believed he is concerned but he is not alone with Everton’s current hierarchy unhappy with how the club are faring having endured their worse start in their history.

TBR Football revealed earlier this month that Dyche has been given a vote of confidence, and that has led to them assessing other options including Graham Potter and former boss David Moyes.

If things don’t improve, TBR understands Everton are ready to make a change.

What games Sean Dyche has to save his Everton career

Next up for Everton is a challenging away trip to Aston Villa which not many people will have the Toffees down to take any points back to Merseyside.

However, there are then a run of games which Everton fans will be looking at as a golden opportunity for the Blues to get some points on the board.

Here are Everton’s next four Premier League fixtures before the international break.

There is also a Carabao Cup clash against Southampton sandwiched between the Villa trip and the next home game against Palace.

But Dyche is certainly up against it now and is going to require a quick turnaround in form if he is to keep his seat in the dugout.
