Arsenal face Tottenham this weekend and Jamie O’Hara has made a bold comment when it comes to picking a best XI out of the duo.
Arsenal are widely regarded as the better of the two sides given their consecutive pushes with Man City at the top of the table in the last two seasons.
Tottenham, meanwhile, failed to qualify for the Champions League last season and have had an inconsistent start to this year, winning one, drawing one, and losing another.
However, while the Gunners are night and day in terms of their consistency and quality over Tottenham, self-confessed Spurs fan Jamie O’Hara has gone for more Tottenham than Arsenal in his combined XI.
And remarkably, he’s suggested just one Arsenal defender makes it in.
William Saliba the only Arsenal defender picked in combined Spurs XI
Speaking about the Tottenham and Arsenal squads on TalkSPORT, O’Hara was tasked with putting his combined Arsenal and Spurs side together.
And controversially, O’Hara has suggested just one Arsenal defender makes it.
“Raya, Udogie, Van de Ven, Saliba, Porro. And then I would say Bissouma and Thomas Partey. I don’t know who is fit. Maddison, Son, Saka, Havertz. You can’t argue with that. There’s no argument,” O’Hara commented.
Arsenal defence speaks for itself
While everyone is entitled to an opinion, this is quite a remarkable call from O’Hara when it comes to the defensive side of things.
Arsenal had the best back four in Europe last season and for him to only include William Saliba is borderline insulting to the Gunners.
Gabriel gets in there, while Ben White has got to be in there somewhere as well.

The left-back situation is more open to interpretation but in the main, this should be a defence dominated by Arsenal players.
O’Hara has suggested Pedro Porro is better than Ben White and judging by this full XI, it seems he’s letting his Spurs bias out.
