Will Keane’s representatives are in talks with Preston over signing a new deal at the club, sources have told Football Insider.

Keane has been the subject of interest from West Brom and Wrexham in the summer transfer window – with Preston rejecting offers from both clubs.

The Lilywhites are now keen to fend off the interest in the 31-year-old by tying him down to a new deal.

Republic of Ireland international Keane is currently in the final year of his contract at Deepdale.

Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (28 August) that Wrexham’s rejected bid was worth around £750,000.
