Finance Expert: Tottenham boost revenue & PSR after new partnership announcement

Dan Plumley has shared that the new partnership with Kraken could help Tottenham and their PSR calculations moving forward.

Tottenham have announced a partnership with one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, which will see them become the club’s Official Sleeve Partner.

The finance expert admitted deals such as these are significant for raising revenue, with John Wenham labelling it as a “huge” financial boost.

“There are significant ways to generate sponsorship nowadays and we have seen the importance of that linked to PSR calculations,” Plumley exclusively told Tottenham News.

“Put simply, it’s a way to generate money that can go towards helping the bottom line.

“There are still a few details on this one that we’re not sure about, so you’re always looking for the next deal to be bigger than the previous one.

“The numbers we’ve not seen for this one, but it’s suggested that it is bigger than the last one, but in light of the wider industry and what you’re trying to do, can you generate more money is tick number one, and can you stretch your commercial operations further.

“This would be another example with shirt sleeve deals that can help towards revenue and ultimately wherever the PSR calculation is.”
