Four Lads shares if Rangers to announce new signing imminently with deal agreed

Rangers are set to complete a deal to sign Connor Barron from Aberdeen after agreeing on terms of a contract, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.

They have reported that a deal isn’t expected to be announced immediately, writing on their personal X account (18 June) and revealing that a deal is a go.

“Usual disclaimer applies, barring any last disasters, Connor Barron will be at Rangers next season,” they wrote.

“Official announcement isn’t expected immediately but this one is a go.”

Rangers set to seal another transfer early in the window

Philippe Clement promised Ibrox fans that there would be big changes in the summer, and he has delivered already with the club having already brought in three players.

Oscar Cortes has re-joined on loan with an obligation to buy in 2025, left-back Jefte has signed permanently, Clinton Nsiala has joined on a free from AC Milan, and Barron now looks close to making it four.

As a 21-year-old Scottish player, it’s a profile that is much needed at Ibrox, and he seems to be the perfect replacement for the outgoing Ryan Jack.

The midfield has lacked a mobile ball-winner for a while and has also lacked top homegrown talent, so this is now a great platform to build on.

This has been a deal that many have wanted for quite some time, so it is brilliant to see that the club are currently making all of the right moves.

Changes are coming at Rangers and fans are excited about this transfer taking place, so the upcoming season will surely be a fun one.
