Everton may now announce the signing of Napoli attacker Jesper Lindstrom on a season-long loan on Wednesday, 24 July.

With Lindstrom’s deal all but done, the Merseyside outfit should focus on acquiring a midfielder who can fill the void left by the Belgian and provide the team with the necessary depth and quality in the middle of the park.

The ideal midfielder for Everton would be a dynamic and versatile player who can contribute both defensively and offensively.
