Pep Guardiola is expected to quit Man City after their legal fight with the Premier League amid accusations of “cheating”.

City have kicked off a legal battle with the Premier League over financial rules, while their 115 charges are still hanging over them.

Suggestions have emerged that the boss, 53, could leave when his contract expires in 2025, but fans think the timing of his exit is conveniently lined up with the time City are likely to be punished.

After Omar Berrada left the club to become the Chief Executive at Manchester United, with major changes looking likely to take place at the Etihad.

Kevin de Bruyne, meanwhile, has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia – as reported by Football Insider – and fans are questioning why a clearout is suddenly taking place.

Suggestions have emerged that those at the top of the club already believe they will be punished heavily by the Premier League and are planning their exits.

Guardiola had recently said, in response to the charges initially levelled at City, that he would leave if they were found guilty.

Now, fans believe this to be the case, with the manager tipped for a swift exit at the end of the season with the Premier League’s conclusion set to arrive.
