‘I understand’: Alasdair Gold shares what he’s now heard amid rumours Dominic Solanke could join Tottenham

Dominic Solanke to Tottenham is a transfer rumour that is gaining a lot of traction at the moment.

The Bournemouth striker has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs in recent days, and, by the sounds of it, this could be one to watch.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has been discussing Tottenham’s interest in Solanke, and he says that he’s heard something interesting about this potential move.

Indeed, Gold says that he’s heard that Bournemouth are already looking at replacements for Solanke, claiming that Aston Villa’s Cameron Archer is someone the Cherries are keen on.

Bournemouth interested in Cameron Archer to replace Dominic Solanke

Gold shared what he’s heard about Bournemouth looking for a new striker.

“Bournemouth, from what I understand, are looking at potential replacement in case he does go. Cameron Archer at Villa is someone they have looked at and there’s another player from abroad they have looked at who has gone out of my mind,” Gold said.

Dominic Solanke move is looking more likely

It would appear that this move for Dominic Solanke is looking more and more likely.

If Bournemouth are looking for a replacement for Solanke, it would stand to reason to suggest that a move to Spurs could be on the cards.

Solanke has certainly earned the chance to play for one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs. The striker has been excellent over the past 12 months, and he’s ready to make that step back up to the big time after underwhelming spells with both Chelsea and Liverpool.

Whether or not Tottenham get this deal done remains to be seen, but the fact that Bournemouth are looking at signing strikers would suggest that the south coast club are scared of losing Solanke.

This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as we head towards the business end of the transfer window.
