John Wenham expects Manor Solomon to make his move from Tottenham to Leeds United permanent for £10million next summer.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes the 25-year-old will “absolutely smash it” in the EFL Championship with the Whites.

Solomon has made two appearances for Leeds since arriving at the club. The forward grabbed an assist on his debut in a 2-0 win over Hull at Elland Road (31 August).

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – is hopeful that the Isreal international can make it into the Championship Team of the Season.

“I really hope that this loan move goes well,” Wenham said

“Solomon is too good for the Championship. Therefore, he would probably suit a bottom-half Premier League team.

Hopefully he absolutely smashes it and gets himself into the team of the season. I could then see him making his move to Leeds permanent next summer for around £10million.

“It is a really good loan and I’m delighted that he has gone straight into the team.”

Manor Solomon to join Leeds United from Tottenham permanently?

Solomon has hardly had a chance at Tottenham.

The winger played only a handful of matches during the 2023/24 campaign after arriving at the club before an injury kept him out for the rest of the season. As a result, he might feel as though he deserves more of an opportunity in North London.

However, the decision to send him out on loan demonstrates that he isn’t a part of Postecoglou’s plans at the club.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him leave permanently. In addition, Wenham has also anticipated that another out-of-favour forward who is on loan from the club, Bryan Gil, could be sold next summer.

As a result, both players will no doubt be keen to make an impression this season to either change Spurs’ minds or secure themselves favourable moves away.

In other Tottenham news, one “outstanding” ace could be the answer to Postecoglou’s problems after what he did recently.
