'Impressed me the most': Bukayo Saka says he's been truly amazed by £60m player Spurs reportedly want to sign

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has delivered a glowing verdict on a player Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign this summer.

The Gunners number seven is currently in Germany on international duty at Euro 2024. He hasn’t had a great campaign, but he is still a truly incredible player.

Even though he’s still only 22, Saka has rubbed shoulders with some unbelievable footballers for club and country over the years.

From the likes of Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Martin Odegaard at Arsenal to Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham in the England camp, he has seen some incredible talents.

So, Saka can be considered a good judge, and he has now had his say on someone Tottenham are really keen to sign this summer.

Bukayo Saka delivers verdict on Tottenham target Eberechi Eze

Eberechi Eze is attracting plenty of interest this summer.

The Crystal Palace star is one of the most exciting players in the Premier League. He is just a joy to watch when he has the ball at his feet, and he is capable of playing for several big clubs.

Tottenham are really interested in signing Eze this summer – they intend to trigger his release clause, which is set at £60 million plus a further £8 million in potential add-ons (Daily Mail).

That is a lot of money, but Eze isn’t even in the prime years of his career yet, and there’s every chance he could become a star at a big club if moves in this window.

Saka is already a superstar at Arsenal, and he has been training with Eze for a few weeks now in the England camp at Euro 2024.

The Crystal Palace star hasn’t started a game yet, but he still seems to have made a huge impact among his teammates in training sessions.

Speaking about Eze, Saka claimed that the 26-year-old has impressed him more than anyone else.

Saka told talkSPORT: “In training, I would say probably Eberechi Eze! He has been class in training. He has impressed me the most, I would say.”

Tottenham can really annoy Arsenal by signing Eze

Arsenal fans don’t want Tottenham to do well and it’s the same thing the other way around.

At the moment, the Gunners are considerably ahead of Spurs on the pitch, but Ange Postecoglou’s side did play a part in costing their neighbours the Premier League title in the 2023/24 season.

Now, Tottenham could do something that could annoy Arsenal even more – sign Eze.

That’s not just because Arsenal are also interested in Eze, but the 26-year-old was actually once a part of the Gunners’ youth system when he was a teenager.

If Tottenham sign Eze and he becomes a star, it could make Arsenal regret letting him go. It’s almost a repeat of what they did with Kane – they released him when he was a kid as well.

It will be interesting to see what will happen with Eze this summer.
