Jack Grealish mocks Nottingham Forest star in new Man City message

Man City ace Jack Grealish took to social media to post an image of him and Jota Silva after their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday (December 4).

Grealish, 29, started alongside returning superstar Kevin de Bruyne as one of Man City’s playmakers, playing 90 minutes before being replaced by Matheus Nunes in added time.

The England international ended the game with a 98 per cent pass accuracy rate, created three chances, and a 100 per cent shot accuracy rate.

City ended their seven-game winless streak, six of which were defeats, thanks to goals from Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, and Jeremy Doku, keeping their title hopes alive.

The winger has once again struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter for Pep Guardiola’s side, starting just eight of his 14 games across all competitions, providing two assists and scoring zero goals in 746 minutes of game time.

Jota, 25, is in a similar boat to Grealish, unable to nail down a starting spot for his club, starting four of his 15 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing one assist in a total of 558 minutes.

Their frustrating situations on the pitch aren’t the only similarity between the two players—they also share an uncanny resemblance to one another.

Grealish took to Instagram to share an image of the two talking after the game, accompanied by the famous ‘Spiderman meme.’

Guardiola’s side have a tricky festive period ahead of them with fixtures against Juventus and Man United in their next three fixtures.

Oliver Glasner’s struggling Crystal Palace are up first, though, as the current champions aim to get their season back on track.
