John Lundstram hits out at what Robby McCrorie did after Kilmarnock win v Rangers

John Lundstram has hit out at Robby McCrorie for his social media post after Kilmarnock beat Rangers 1-0 at Rugby Park.

Kilmarnock secured three points on Sunday (20 October) with Marley Watkins scoring the winner in the dying moments of the Scottish Premiership clash.

McCrorie managed to get one over on his old club and keep a clean sheet, not having much to do.

The former Rangers goalkeeper posted on Instagram after the victory, saying: “Brilliant team performance.”

Lundstram was far from pleased with the post, replying: “Couldn’t wait to get this up, could you, you muppet.”

Phillipe Clement could be relieved of Rangers duties

It is hard to make a case against Phillipe Clement’s job being under heavy pressure after his side slipped even further away from league leaders Celtic and Aberdeen on Sunday.

The defeat just piled additional misery on the Gers who have endured a rough start to the season and have almost left the title race already.

Celtic and Aberdeen lead the charge, level on points, with Rangers a worrying six points behind them after just eight games.

Their last title was won under the realm of Steven Gerrard back in 2021 and Clement has shown no evidence to prove he can be the man to change that fortune.

Fixtures don’t get much better in the coming weeks either, with a trip to Aberdeen on the cards, as well as a European encounter with Olympiacos.

Providing Clement holds his position until the Aberdeen fixture, failure to win could be the final nail in the coffin for the Belgian manager.
