John Textor wants to make Everton a “super power” as the American businessman gets in touch with possible partners for his takeover bid, according to Alan Nixon.

The journalist reported via his Patreon [15 September] that the current Crystal Palace co-owner admits he needs help to raise the millions needed to buy the Toffees before splashing the cash on star signings.

It is understood that famous artist Jay-Z is open to investing in the Premier League team following his success in the music industry, on the condition that Textor can complete a deal in the coming weeks.

Textor hopes to sell the idea to others who could be attracted to the business venture, with prospects of using the new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium as a venue for other projects.

The 58-year-old businessman is saying all the right things to excite the passionate fanbase at Goodison Park, and the possible addition of Jay-Z will certainly raise some eyebrows.

Jay-Z’s knowledge of the music industry could help increase income drastically at the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium, taking inspiration from Daniel Levy at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with concerts.

Of course, the financial side of the Toffees’ situation still needs solving, and Textor looks to be the man to find a fix, with fans now becoming very excited about the prospect of him replacing Farhad Moshiri.

As one of the Premier League’s oldest teams, the Toffees have massive potential. The more investors that come into Goodison Park, with knowledge of different areas, the better.

There are currently few positives to boast on Merseyside, especially as Sean Dyche’s side continue their torrid start to the Premier League campaign, but this news could breathe life into their season.
