Jude Bellingham sends six-word message to Morgan Rogers after big development

Jude Bellingham has taken to social media to send a message to friend and England debutant Morgan Rogers.

Bellingham, 21, and Rogers, 22, progressed through the England youth ranks together before both featuring in the comfortable 3-0 UEFA Nations League win over Greece on Thursday (November 14).

The Real Madrid superstar was unlucky to get a goal, his effort rattling off the post, bouncing off Greece goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos and into the back of the net.

Rogers replaced Anthony Gordon in the 66th minute to earn his first cap alongside fellow debutants Curtis Jones and Lewis Hall.

The Aston Villa forward was one of five players called up to replace a whopping nine England stars who withdrew and returned to their clubs to focus on their fitness.

After an impressive start to the season at club level, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 15 games across all competitions, interim manager Lee Carsley thought it was about time he gave Rogers a shot.

Happy for his friend and now England teammate, Bellingham took to Instagram to remind Rogers just how far they’ve come since their youth.

With the Republic of Ireland next up in England’s quest for UEFA Nations League glory, Rogers will not doubt have another chance to impress.
