Leeds United fans are demanding a positional change for Junior Firpo after his impressive performance for the Dominican Republic.

The 28-year-old typically plays as a left back for the Championship side, but he is pushed into a more attacking role at international level.

Firpo scored a brace on Saturday (12 October) as the Dominican Republic picked up a 5-0 win against Antigua and Barbuda, which has intrigued Leeds supporters.

The Yorkshire giants currently sit fifth in the Championship and have scored 15 goals in the opening nine games, but fans now want to see Firpo aid the team’s attacking efforts.

Firpo has started every game this season for the Whites, being a key member of Daniel Farke’s squad from a defensive perspective.
