Leeds fans rage at Daniel Farke as Mateo Joseph footage re-analysed

Leeds fans have taken to social media to urge manager Daniel Farke to give Mateo Joesph more chances after his impressive form for Spain’s Under-21s.

The 21-year-old scored his sixth goal in seven appearances for his country as Spain Under-21s beat their Danish counterparts 2-1 on Tuesday (November 19).

Joseph is seriously struggling for form at club level, scoring just twice in 15 appearances across all competitions for Leeds so far this season.

It’s no secret that the West Yorkshire club are in desperate need of a number nine, with only Joel Piroe having scored more than five goals this campaign.

Having seemingly found some solace on the international stage, the young striker will no doubt be hoping to make a claim at Elland Road as Daniel Farke’s side aim for promotion back to the Premier League.

Mateo Joseph backed to be a success at Leeds

Farke has Leeds looking like genuine title contenders despite their lack of a dominant number nine, sitting in third with 29 points from their 15 games.

Impressed by his numbers away from the club, fans have taken to X, formally known as Twitter, to urge Farke to give him another chance.
