Liverpool fans turn on 'clown' Jamie Carragher after he savages star man

Liverpool fans have called Jamie Carragher a “clown” for his analysis regarding Mohamed Salah’s contract situation and his decision to call out the club.

Salah had told reporters he was “more out than in” after not being offered a new deal by the owners, much to his disappointment.

Carragher reacted to it on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football by saying, “I think it’s pretty obvious the issue is what Mo Salah feels he’s worth, whether that’s in financial terms or length of contract, is completely different to what Liverpool feel at this moment.

“I just hope they meet somewhere in the middle at some stage between now and the end of the season because I’m desperate to see him in a Liverpool shirt next season.”

Salah’s deal expires at the end of this season, but he remains a vital part of Arne Slot’s team having scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists throughout the campaign so far.

Supporters have been eager to see the Egypt international extend his deal at Anfield, especially after his match-winning brace against Southampton on Sunday (24 November).

Liverpool supporters were disappointed by Carragher’s comments on the situation despite his place as a legend of the football club.

Supporters claimed he is someone who “talks too much” while others admitted they were “disappointed” in Carragher.
