Liverpool legend Jordan Henderson squared up to Ajax teammate Bertrand Traore in a furious on-field bust-up on Thursday night.
The 34-year-old had to be pulled away by fellow Ajax midfielder Kian Fitz-Jim, 21, after going ballistic with Traore, 29, for misplacing a pass.
The Dutch giants were 3-0 up against Besiktas at the time but Henderson was unwilling to let standards slip, displaying the kind of mentality that helped him lift the Premier League and Champions League while at Liverpool.
Ajax ended the game on Thursday (September 26) as 4-0 winners thanks to a brace from Mika Godts as well as goals from Fitz-Jim and Kenneth Taylor.

At a club famed for producing remarkable young talents, Henderson is the second oldest player in the current Ajax squad, six years behind goalkeeper Remko Pasveer.
Henderson joined the club after a disastrous move to Saudi Arabia which saw him lose credibility on and off the pitch.
Speaking to ZiggoSport after the game, the Englishman said, “My moment with Traore? If you watch me play over the years, that’s pretty normal to be honest.
“Intimidating? It’s football! We want to win, we want to improve. If we concede a goal there is still much time left. Sometimes you will have words with each other but it’s good, it keeps everybody on their toes.”
