Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers made his England debut on Thursday night and helped his nation run out 3-0 winners over Greece in the Nations League.
The Aston Villa ace has been a revelation for Unai Emery’s side since he moved from Middlesbrough to Villa Park earlier this year.
Rogers has three goals and three assists from 15 Villans appearances this season, and an overall tally at B6 of 31 outings, six goals and four assists.
As a result, the 22-year-old was awarded with a spot in the England team for their encounters against Greece and the Republic of Ireland this month.
The Villa attacker came on in the 66th minute of the match in Athens and gave a good account of himself, looking very much suited to the level required.
On Friday, Rogers took to Instagram to celebrate his England debut, and many illustrious peers sung his praises in the comments.

Rogers wrote on Instagram: “When a dream becomes reality. A proud moment for me and my family!”
Tottenham Hotspur’s Dominic Solanke replied “love it you”, while Manchester City’s Jack Grealish said “well deserved brother”.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer put “congrats my boy” and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham posted “deserved my brother”.
The likes of Jarrod Bowen, Ollie Watkins, Jacob Ramsey, Liam Delap and Anthony Elanga also wished Rogers well in wake of his debut.
Rogers is also set for a new contract at Villa which is expected to be announced after the international break.
How the media rated Rogers for his England display v Greece
Goal.com gave Rogers a 6 out of 10 and said he made a ‘reasonable debut from the bench’.
The Express – who also gave him a 6 – said he ‘didn’t look out of place’, while talkSPORT went with a 7 and said he ‘was instrumental to the third goal on his debut’.
England are next in action on Sunday evening as they host the Republic of Ireland at Wembley in a 5pm kick-off.
Villa return to action next week as they host Crystal Palace on Saturday 23 November, the Premier League match scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
