Man City fans are concerned about Savinho after he had to be replaced at half-time in his Premier League debut against Chelsea.

The new signing had impressed in the glimpses he showed during the opening 45 minutes, but Pep Guardiola replaced him at the break.

The 20-year-old created the most chances, had the most successful dribbles, and won the most duels in an impressive display against Chelsea.

However, Savinho went down after being involved in a counter-attack and Guardiola opted not to take a chance with him in the second half.

Man City signed the winger for £30.8million from Troyes, and he was preferred to Jack Grealish and Phil Foden in the starting line-up.

City went on to win the game 2-0 following goals from Erling Haaland and former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Although bringing on Foden could have been a precautionary decision, the situation created obvious concern among fans.

Supporters are worried that they might be without his attacking qualities for a longer period, especially with Oscar Bobb already sidelined.
