Man United forgotten man to be handed second chance under Amorim - fans excited

Man United fans believe that Mason Mount is set to be handed a second chance at the club after footage of him meeting Ruben Amorim for the first time emerged.

The new United boss headed to the training ground this week to introduce himself to the players who aren’t on international duty, which included the _-year-old attacking midfielder.

The former Chelsea player and Amorim were shown hugging in a positive manner, and fans believe it could be a good sign for Mount’s struggling United career.

The England international hasn’t been able to kick on at United due to injury problems restricting his game time at Old Trafford.

Mount has only featured six times this season in all competitions and has played just 26 times since joining the Premier League giants in the summer of 2023.

According to The Sun, Mount will be given the chance to revive his United career, as Amorim is a fan of his versatility which could lead to him being deployed in various positions.

United fans are still backing Mount to be a success at the club and have claimed he will “definitely shine” under Amorim if he’s able to stay injury-free.

Bruno, Amad, Rashford and Mount all seems to fit the two attacking mids or inverted winger positions. If Mount can stay injury free he will be a really valuable asset to this team.

If he does go with the sporting formation and he is fit then mount and Bruno could possibly be the tens. Leaves a bit of uncertainty around garnacho, Amad, Diallo etc aside from wing back
