Newcastle fans are glad to see Tino Livramento has had his fine form rewarded after being called up to the England squad after three players withdrew.
The 21-year-old initially joined up with the Under-21s but was called up by interim manager Lee Carsely alongside Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones after Kobbie Mainoo, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Ezri Konsa dropped out.
Livramento is yet to make his first appearance for England, despite being part of the squad that secured two consecutive UEFA Nations League victories over Finland and the Republic of Ireland.
With Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Rico Lewis ahead of him, he will have work to do if he wants to make an impression for Carsley and England in their upcoming games against Greece and Finland.
Newcastle defender Tino Livramento handed huge England opportunity
The youngster has impressed when given the chance by manager Eddie Howe, but remains behind veteran defender Kieran Tripper in the pecking order.
He may only have 349 Premier League minutes under his belt so far this season but Newcastle fans are glad to see him receive a call-up to the national team for the second time.
