Sean Dyche will not exit Everton despite the takeover drama at Goodison Park involving the Friedkin Group, according to Darren Ambrose.

The Toffees have ended talks with the prospective new owners and Blues insider Bryan King told Goodison News on 7 July that the deal hit a “stumbling block” due to money owed to 777 Partners.

This latest collapse leaves Farhad Moshiri searching for yet another new buyer, but talkSPORT pundit Ambrose believes Dyche will stay loyal to the Blues and honour the remainder of his contract.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Saturday (27 July) he said: “I hope they can get through this, they’ve got a great manager.

“That’s why I mentioned there to Kieran is there a chance he would walk away from this because they don’t deserve that? I think the supporters stick by their team and Sean Dyche will know that and he will honour his contract and be loyal to that football club.

“I hope they get out of this situation.”

Will Sean Dyche exit Everton amid takeover drama at Goodison Park?

So far, there has been no suggestion that Dyche would ever exit Goodison Park in the future, but the Toffees boss must be just as frustrated as the supporters with this current situation.

He is having to work with one hand tied behind his back at all times because of the lack of investment from the top of the club and at this moment in time that doesn’t appear likely to change anytime soon.

That will have taken its toll on the former Burnley boss, but as Ambrose suggested he is a loyal man and he doesn’t seem like the sort of character who would leave the club in limbo if he can avoid it.

Even with the uncertainty around the takeover, he has been backed in the transfer market and made several quality additions this summer to help try and propel the club back up the Premier League table.

Hopefully, the takeover situation will come to its conclusion sooner rather than later with some more clarity expected in the coming weeks. That way, everyone involved at Everton will be able to relax ever so slightly.
