Rangers enter dance today as club want to speed up new transfer - report

Rangers have entered the “dance” to sign Nathaniel Adjei from Hammarby on Thursday 13 June with Anderlecht also interested, according to Sudinfo Sport.

The centre-back is of interest to the Gers and the Belgian giants while their league rivals Genk and Club Brugges have been linked in the past.

Hammarby could demand up to £5million for the Ghanaian this summer with his price said to be fluctuating.

Rangers have recently entered the race while “Anderlecht would like to speed things up” to get a deal done for the 21-year-old soon.

Rangers interested in Nathaniel Adjei

There has been no lack of players linked with a move to Ibrox ahead of what is set to be a busy transfer window for the club.

After letting a whole host of stars leave this summer, Philippe Clement will be looking to bring in plenty of signings to add to his squad.

With finances being a concern, especially given the number of additions needed, the Gers will have to be clever with who they bring in.

Adjei is a Ghanaian coming out of the Swedish league after spending a positive half-season on loan in France with Lorient last season.

Philippe Clement is in need of reinforcements at Rangers.

He is a useful player on the ball while also being able to do the dirty work by way of tackles and aerial duels when needed.

Rangers may not be keen to pay £5million for his signature given the number of players they will want to bring in throughout the window.

In other Rangers news, Ipswich Town sources speak out on transfer links with Tom Lawrence.
