The Ibrox outfit were left fuming by the developments and had slammed Dundee for their “negligence and unprofessionalism,” demanding the cost of travel and overnight expenses.

The SPFL’s decision to rule in favour of Gers in the compensation dispute with Dundee as they incurred significant travel and accommodation expenses due to the repeated postponements of their matches at Dens Park.

The SPFL have a responsibility to ensure that clubs adhere to league rules and regulations.

Dundee’s repeated breaches of these rules, including the failure to provide a suitable playing surface, warranted disciplinary action.
