Joshua Barrie reports that Rangers are unlikely to confirm the signing of Sima in the near future as Brighton and Hove Albion weigh up their transfer options.

The Seagulls are expected to test the market this summer if they decide to sell the forward as they look to maximise his value before selling to the highest bidder.

Speaking on The Rangers Review YouTube channel (7 June, 9:00), Barrie said: “If Rangers could keep Sima they would, but how much will they pay for him and how much will Brighton want for him?”

Rangers ready bid for Albion Rrahmani

Four Lads are unsure on whether speculation Rangers are readying a £5.1million offer for Rapid Bucharest’s Rrahmani is entirely true.

Galdames may be destined to sign for the Gers after Godoy Cruz club president Alejandro Chapini admitted a deal could be on.

Reports have suggested that Clement’s side are one of a number of clubs interested in securing the defender’s signature this summer.

Chapini is quoted by Diario AS as saying: “He is a club player and must respect the contract.

“However, we have never blocked the departure of a player if there is something convenient for both parties.”

Ianis Hagi exit admission made

Jonny McFarlane admits that Ianis Hagi’s recent comments are not those made by a player who wants to stay at Rangers.

The 25-year-old was on loan for the 2023-24 season at Alaves and now appears to have gone on the record iterating his desire to leave Gers.

McFarlane posted on X: “Certainly not the comments of a guy intent on remaining at Rangers.”
