Rangers will look to sign Yusuf Kabadayi on a loan deal from Bayern Munich rather than a permanent deal this summer, according to the Daily Record.

Ross Pilcher has reported for the Scottish newspaper (6 June, page 45) that the German has a year remaining on his current contract.

If Rangers were to move ahead with a move for the midfielder this summer, they will look for a loan deal rather than a permanent move.

Rangers in for Yusuf Kabadayi loan deal

The Gers are looking to rebuild their squad under Philippe Clement this summer and they have already begun with Jefte.

There are limited funds available to the Belgian this summer and taking advantage of free and loan transfers is going to be integral.

A loan move for Kabadayi could prove to be a useful deal as Rangers need cover for the outbound John Lundstram who has departed at the end of his contract.

With that being said, the German midfielder got his manager Keke Topp “really mad” after messing up a chance on the final day of the season [Bild].

The Gers have a prior relationship with Bayern Munich after signing Malik Tilman on loan in Summer 2022 so this deal could be done quickly.

Despite his final-day antics, Kabadayi could prove to be a useful loan addition this summer.

In other Rangers news, weeks of negotiations are now on the cards at Ibrox with Gers aiming to strike a multi-million transfer deal to sign an international attacker.
