Rangers to parade new transfer within days as he thrashes out terms - report

Rangers are set to parade the signing of Hamza Igamane from AS Far Rabat within days, according to Football Scotland.

The 21-year-old is said to have been given the all-clear to complete a move to Ibrox after a deal worth £2million was agreed, as well as thrashing out personal terms.

Igamane is now set to be finally confirmed as a Light Blues player after he was granted a work permit.

It had been reported that the forward was en route to Glasgow [Daily Record, 3 July] and now a deal looks to have been completed.

This could see the Moroccan become Rangers’ sixth signing of the summer as Philippe Clement continues his revolution.

After losing out to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish Cup, the gap between themselves and their Old Firm rivals was made clear.

The Belgian was then forced to deal with a high volume of departures this summer as permanent and loan contracts came to an end.

This has already seen the likes of Connor Barron and Liam Kelly come in as the Gers’ boss looks to shape his squad ahead of next season.

Although Ibrox may not be their home at the beginning of the season, it is clear that Clement wants to start the season well.

Igamane is more of an unknown quantity but on a cheap deal, if he has any sort of positive impact next campaign, he will be worth bringing in.
