Report: Arsenal are closely scouting Brazilian 'wonderkid' with £66m release clause
????
Arsenal’s recruitment during Edu Gaspar’s reign has been exceptional.
During the summer, Arsenal added Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling to their ranks, spending a total of £90m.
After an indifferent start to the season, which has seen them drop needless points due to disciplinary issues, The Gunners are already identifying targets ahead of the January transfer window.

With that said, it has just come to light that they’re keeping close tabs on a talented teenage forward in Brazil.
Arsenal closely scouting Luighi
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Arsenal are closely scouting Brazilian wonderkid Luighi ahead of the January transfer window.
Luighi, who’s been labelled a ‘wonderkid’ per Daily Express, has enjoyed a prolific season with Palmeiras’ under-20s, netting nine goals in 19 appearances and he’s already scored for the seniors, too.
The teenage striker is considered by some at the club to be better than Endrick – who completed a big money move to Real Madrid in the summer.
Arsenal face competition from other clubs around Europe but it appears they’re interest is the most genuine, as they tried to close a deal for him earlier this year.
It’s thought Luighi has a £66m release clause in his Palmeiras contract.
Arsenal should sign the finished article
It’s evident Arsenal are lacking a specialist number nine, so rather than signing an 18-year-old who will need time to develop, they should sign the finished article.
Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres would be perfect, however, his signature would come at a heavy cost, indeed.
In fact, TBR reported last week that Sporting would not allow Gyokeres to leave in January unless his £85m release clause was activated.
So it’ll certainly be a difficult Janaury window to navigate for Arsenal.
