Liverpool know they will need to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah at some point and it looks like their search could take them to the Bundesliga.
The Reds have been preparing for Salah’s departure for some time already and heavy rumours in the last two summers about a move to Saudi Arabia have dominated headlines.
Of course, Salah’s contract is also an issue and with no new deal penned, Liverpool could well be in the end-game when it comes to their partnership with Salah.
However, all clubs and players move on eventually and Liverpool’s recruitment team will no doubt have players in mind to replace Salah.
And according to CaughtOffside, one of those players is Borussia Dortmund star, Karim Adeyemi.
Liverpool keen on Karim Adeyemi as potential Mohamed Salah replacement
According to the report, Liverpool have a number of wingers on their short-list to replace Salah and Dortmund ace Adeyemi is one of them.
The talented German under-21 international is very much one of the most exciting talents in the Bundesliga and he has been linked with a move to England for some time.
But it looks like Liverpool could one of the more likely teams to offer him an escape route should he wish to seek it.

It’s claimed that Liverpool like the look of Adeyemi, while Takefusa Kubo is also a player the higher-ups at Anfield admire.
Adeyemi was linked with a move to Arsenal just this summer and being valued at around the £35m mark, Liverpool might well see him as excellent value.
Lauded as an ‘electric‘ forward due to his pace and directness down either flank, Adeyemi very much ticks a number of boxes Liverpool will look at in replacing Salah.
With January just around the corner, the Reds could well get ahead of the game and make a move for someone like Adeyemi before Salah even departs.
