Sky Sports share Sean Dyche sack update at Everton as Farhad Moshiri's stance emerges

Everton manager Sean Dyche still has the full backing of Farhad Moshiri despite the Toffees’ disappointing start to the season, according to Sky Sports.

The outlet reported on its website on Friday (13 September) that the Englishman has enough credit in the bank with the Blues owner having helped them dodge relegation in each of the last two seasons despite several off-the-field issues.

Should the Toffees’ winless start to the Premier League campaign continue, it is unlikely that Dyche will be sacked by the current hierarchy even with speculation surrounding his future on Merseyside.

If the Blues were to make the surprise decision to part ways with the former Burnley boss, they would be looking to replace him with a coach who plays in a similar style with similar principles.

Will Sean Dyche exit Everton amid Goodison Park sack speculation?

The Everton fanbase has been divided over Dyche in the opening weeks of the season, with some supporters calling for the manager to be given time whilst others are pining for a change in the dugout sooner rather than later.

Ultimately, the Blues boss does have plenty of credit in the bank at Goodison Park as he has managed to twice keep the Toffees in the Premier League whilst managing with one hand behind his back most of the time.

There will always be those who suggest that his in-game management is lacking or that his style of football isn’t entertaining to watch, but his history suggests that it gets results and keeps teams in the top flight.

Dyche has earned this opportunity to turn things around.

He has been without several of his most important players in the opening weeks of the season and had his side not imploded in the final moments against Bournemouth, they’d be sitting pretty in the middle of the table.

However, it will be interesting to see just how much patience Moshiri and the hierarchy around him at Goodison Park have. How long will this winless run have to be before they consider pulling the trigger?

Only time will tell.
