Philippe Clement will not be resigning even though there is an acceptance around Rangers that Celtic will win the title, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reported on 26 November that the Belgian does not want to forego any compensation he gets if the club are to sack him.

Currently, the board are showing faith in Clement despite the side being 11 points behind their arch rivals Celtic.

The report reads: “TEAMtalk can reveal it would be highly unlikely that the 50-year-old would resign and give up his compensation package.

“Sources believe there is already an acceptance around the Light Blues that Celtic will win the league, finishing well clear of their Old Firm foes.”
