Alan Myers has issued a verdict on Farhad Moshiri as he shared images of the new Everton stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Sky Sports news editor admitted that there have been issues under his stewardship but he has delivered on his promise of the stadium.

Moshiri is expected to sell his stake in the club with Dan Friedkin handed exclusivity to complete the takeover.

Myers wrote on Twitter: “This is going to be so special! He’s had his issues but Moshiri has delivered on a spectacular new home, it’ll be 6 years from start to finish when completed.”

Despite delivering the new stadium, his tenure has been marred by poor decision-making and instability.

With a new owner like Friedkin, Everton can begin a fresh era, focusing on stability, success and fan engagement in their impressive new home.
