Jamie Redknapp called Iliman Ndiaye the stardust of the Everton squad ahead of the 1-1 draw against Fulham in the Premier League.

The Cottagers made their way to Goodison Park on 26 October and a goal from former player Alex Iwobi broke the deadlock, but Beto came up trumps in the dying minutes to hand the Toffees a point.

But before kick-off, Redknapp singled out Ndiaye as one of his favourites to watch on Sky Sports [26 October, 17:05], heaping him with immense praise.

“I always feel with Everton, the crowd especially, the way they get the ball forward, especially number 10 Ndiaye, he’s the stardust,” he said.

“When you get it up to the top half of the pitch where you got the players who can do something different.

“He’s dynamite.”

Everton signed Ndiaye over the summer from Olympique Marseille, and he has since been immense for the team, cementing his place in Sean Dyche’s plans.

The Senegalese has made 11 appearances in all competitions so far for the Blues, scoring three goals in all competitions.

After the departure of Anthony Gordon, the left-hand side of the attack struggled for a while, with Dwight McNeil looking out of place playing there.

With Ndiaye’s inclusion in the team, the former Burnley forward has also found his groove playing behind the striker and pulling the strings in the attack.

Dyche and his squad started the season poorly, but the Toffees have had some positive results in recent weeks, with the Senegal international all over in the final third.

The draw to Fulham in the dying minutes will surely help with the momentum going into the game against relegation-threatened Southampton, and fans will be looking towards Ndiaye to make something happen.
