Rangers fans are insisting Steven Gerrard could be set for a shock return for Ibrox after the former boss shared a new image to his Instagram page.

Taking to social media recently, Gerrard shared an image of a poster containing lyrics of Rangers chants, captioned “I need this picture”.

As a result, supporters at Ibrox are convinced he may be tempted to make the return to Glasgow as pressure continues to grow on Philippe Clement’s position.

Following a heavy 3-0 defeat to Celtic in the Old Firm at Parkhead, Football Insider revealed that the boss is “fighting for his job”.

Fans are also beginning to grow impatient with the manager, and many have already called for the board to make a change after losing faith.

Following Gerrard’s social media antics, many are now calling for the club’s hierarchy to turn back to their former boss and tempt him to move back to Ibrox.
