Man United youngster Leny Yoro is reportedly able to walk without the aid of crutches as he continues to recover from a pre-season injury.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 18-year-old has stepped up his rehabilitation and has been in the gym with Man United physios as he works on his return.
Yoro is yet to play a competitive game for his new club after fracturing his metatarsal in United’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal during their US pre-season tour.
The central-defender moved to Manchester for £52.1million after a breakout season with French club Lille, a deal that made him the sixth most expensive teenager in football history.
It’s a positive move for both player and club but Yoro is still expected to be sat on the sidelines for several months.

The young Frenchman made 60 appearances for boyhood club Lille, 50 of which were from the first whistle, after breaking into the first-team back in 2022.
Alongside Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt and Morocco international Noussair Mazraoui, Yoro was part of a major defensive overhaul for the 20-time Premier League champions over the summer transfer window.
Despite a net spend of £101.8million, it’s been an underwhelming start to the Premier League season for Erik ten Hag’s side.
With defeats to Brighton and rivals Liverpool in their first three league games of the season, the club currently sit in 14th an pressure is already building on the Dutch manager.
