The Lilywhites have placed great emphasis on recruiting young talent and one of their teenage stars has just publicly confirmed his desire to win the Premier League along with other personal ambitions.
Lucas Bergvall wants to win the Premier League
Speaking to Hayters TV journalist Gerry Cox, Tottenham Hotspur’s new boy Lucas Bergvall has listed his ambitions for the upcoming season.
“The goal is of course to make a Premier League debut,” Bergvall said.
“Then, to come into the team and win something. To have a good season and to qualify for the Champions League.
“And the goal is to win the league.”

Bergvall, who joined Spurs from Swedish side Allsvenskan in a deal thought to be worth £8.5m, has really impressed many during pre-season.
The 18-year-old has made a big impression on his compatriot Dejan Kulusevski, who said (via Football London): “He’s very good, obviously, like, everybody’s seen him.
“Then, of course, I haven’t seen him at this level and everything, like, we have to give him time; we have to give him time for a lot of new challenges, but what’s important is that the talent is there and the work rate.”
Spurs fans can next get a glimpse of the teenage midfielder on Wednesday, when his side take on K-League XI.
In other news, Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham are looking at making two signings soon.
