Leeds United loanee Manor Soloman has sent a message to parent club Tottenham with a stunning performance in the 4-3 win over Swansea on Sunday.

The 25-year-old scored twice in the victory in Wales on 24 November as the Whites reached the summit of the Championship table after a thrilling contest.

The Israel international had only managed one assist before the win at Swansea but has finally opened his account for the Elland Road club.

Tottenham to make Manor Solomon decision

The Spurs loanee could become a vital asset for the Whites in their promotion push despite suggestions that his loan could be terminated and he could return to Tottenham.

Playing on the left wing for Leeds against Swansea, Solomon had three shots, scoring with two of them from an expected goals total of 1.33 [Fotmob].

He had five touches in the opposition area and made two passes into the final third with a 90 per cent passing accuracy (18/20).

He also contributed defensively, making six ball recoveries, two interceptions and winning two of his three ground duels, for a 67 per cent success rate.

Taking 37 touches and only being dispossessed once, Solomon finally looks to be getting back to physical best after struggling with injury again.

After their dominant win 4-0 against Manchester City on Saturday (23 November) there is little suggestion that the Lilywhites need the Israel forward back anytime soon.

Dejan Kulusevski shined while Son Hueng-Min and Dominic Solanke also impressed at the Etihad Stadium as the defending champions were blown away comfortably.

Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson also contributed when they combined for the fourth goal, further questioning the need for Solomon in N17.

Despite that, this was definitely a message to Ange Postecoglou, who must not forget about him ahead of a vital season for his chances in North London.

Ultimately, both player and club would be better served by the 25-year-old staying at Elland Road until the end of the season.

In other Tottenham news, two players have been criticised for their performance in the 4-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s side.
