Daniel Levy never fails to find an opportunity to make money at Tottenham.

And so often when he does, he manages to upset a lot of supporters in the process.

That will surely be the case once again after the club’s official kit release.

Tottenham unveiled their new home kit to the masses via their official website on Tuesday (4 June), with next season’s strip already on sale to supporters.

However, a lot of those supporters will surely be thinking twice about making the purchase after a glance at the prices.

As per Alasdair Gold via X (4 June), the cheapest home shirt next season will cost Spurs supporters £50, and that is if they can fit into a toddler’s size.

Gold wrote, “Football’s gone a bit mad, hasn’t it? £85 for a football shirt that changes every year, £125 for the ‘elite’ version players wear.

“Adult full kit is £148 for ‘stadium’ version, £188 for ‘elite’. Youth shirt £65, full kit for kids (3-8) £55 and toddlers £50.”

Tottenham supporters will surely fume at the cost of their new home kit

For any supporters thinking about kitting their family out in next season’s colours, they might be forced to think again.

If a family of four with two children want to purchase four full kits they will be forced to fork out an eye-watering £406.

And that is before any names or numbers are added to the back.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy
Daniel Levy is left with questions to answer once again at Tottenham.

It is a ridiculous amount of money and a cost which will simply be unaffordable for plenty of Spurs-supporting families.

Not to mention the fact that those families will have to pay it all over again when the kits become outdated a year from now.

Many will no doubt point the finger at Levy, who is once again left with questions to answer.

For a club raking in the cash, pricing loyal supporters out of something as simple as buying their club’s kit is not a good look.

In other Tottenham news, the club could sign one Premier League midfielder this month after a “bizarre” development.
