Daniel Levy and Ange Postecoglou are continuing to think about the long-term future at Tottenham.

There are plenty of reasons for supporters to be optimistic at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The club have several exciting young players on their books. Will Lankshear, Mikey Moore and Jamie Donley all made big impressions last season.

And it appears as if the North London side are keen to continue adding promising youngsters to their ranks.

As per Alasdair Gold via Football London(25 June), Spurs beat out several Premier League sides to sign 16-year-old Glentoran striker George Feeney.

Gold described Feeney as a “talented young forward”, with that transfer having since been confirmed.

Spurs confirmed via their official website on Saturday (6 July) the 13 young players who have formally joined the Under-18s as full-time, first-year scholars.

Among those players was Feeney.

This can be seen as a message from those higher up at the club that they are thinking long-term, and Postecoglou will be delighted by this.

With all of these talented young players available to him, the Australian will be keen to slowly integrate them into the first-team picture.

And the UEFA Europa League could offer a perfect opportunity for him to do just that next season.
