Arsenal fans are convinced they’ll sign Premier League ‘monster’ Alexander Isak after the Newcastle United star dropped a transfer hint.

Mikel Arteta’s side have long been linked to the Sweden international, widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the English top-flight.

Isak has been in fine form for the Magpies, producing three goals and an assist across his last three Premier League matches, including the defeat to Chelsea and impressive wins over both Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.

Gunners supporters believe Isak could now be swapping St James’ Park for the Emirates after he issued a ‘come and get me plea’ in an interview.

Isak, speaking to Viaplay Fotboll, rated Arsenal pair William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes as the best defensive duo in the Premier League and said that they were the hardest centre-backs he’s faced in the top-flight.

The Newcastle star also insisted that Saliba and Magalhaes were both better than Liverpool’s star centre-back Virgil van Dijk.

‘Confirmation that Isak knows ball,’ Arsenal fan @Francis-c92 posted on Reddit while @HsizzleH said: ‘Come and get me plea if I ever heard one.’

‘Bring this monster to the carpet please,’ @Cashelz wrote before another Arsenal fan, @notlewispinion, added: ‘Gonna have to call him Ice-ak Spice the way he’s twerking for us.’

‘Havertz and 50 million for Alexander Isak, who says no, sadly probably Newcastle,’ @B12C10X8 posted.

Meanwhile, over on X, @softilerar said: ‘”Hello! My name is Alexander Isak and I want to go to Arsenal”‘

‘Kind of funny that he says this after many reports point to him being on his way to Arsenal,’ @eminlager1 wrote.

‘Sounds like he’s going to Arsenal,’ @il_trumfo added next a sweating face emoji.

Isak has scored a total of 40 goals across 78 games for Eddie Howe’s side since he joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022.
