'Best in the Premier League': Chris Sutton raves about Nottingham Forest duo as he predicts Everton result

Nottingham Forest will look to cement their place in the top four when they face Everton in Sunday’s Premier League encounter at Goodison Park.

The Reds have had an incredible season so far, sitting fourth in the Premier League table after winning their last four games.

Nottingham Forest will be up against an Everton side that is starting to find confidence thanks to a four-game unbeaten run.

Chris Sutton has now predicted the result of Sunday’s encounter on Merseyside as he singled four Forest players out for praise.

Chris Sutton backs Everton to draw with Nottingham Forest

Sutton, writing on BBC Sport, has described Forest’s centre-back pairing of Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo as the best in the Premier League.

He also hailed Ola Aina’s “phenomenal form” and praised Anthony Elanga for his “decent scoring run”.

However, Sutton backed Everton to secure another 1-1 draw against difficult opposition after picking up a point at Manchester City last time out.

“Nottingham Forest keep on winning but, although Everton are on a run of three draws, they got them against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, in games where everyone expected them to be beaten – including me,” began Sutton.

“Everton have earned those results by being resilient but I thought Iliman Ndiaye’s equaliser against City was a superb strike. It was a goal of sheer beauty, the way he took it, and it feels like they always pose a threat.

“Forest have been defending well too – they had less than 30% possession in their 1-0 victory over Tottenham but still found a way to win.

“Their centre-back pairing of Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo has been the best in the Premier League this season, and their right-back Ola Aina is in phenomenal form as well.

“Anthony Elanga, who got their winner against Spurs, is on a decent scoring run too, and it is going to be hard for Everton to stop them.

“I think Sean Dyche’s side will surprise a few people again here, though, and I am going for them to get another draw.”

Everton v Nottingham Forest team news

Everton boss Sean Dyche is hopeful that Iliman Ndiaye and Seamus Coleman will be fit after both were substituted as a precaution against Manchester City.

Dwight McNeil remains a doubt after missing the last three games due to a knee injury, while Ashley Young is also a doubt due to a neck problem he picked up against Chelsea.

As for Nottingham Forest, there are no fresh injury or suspension concerns ahead of the trip to Goodison Park.

Ryan Yates is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the win against Spurs, while Nicolas Dominguez is available after serving a ban.
