Confidence of Rangers players dented as Clement 'adamant' behind the scenes - report

Philippe Clement is “adamant” that he can turn things around and bring success to Rangers, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reported on 26 November that the confidence of some of the players has been dented and that’s been affecting their performances.

Thus far, the club have decided to stick with the Belgian despite their struggles domestically.

For Gers to be 11 points behind Celtic and November has not even ended, is undoubtedly a miserable state of affairs.

He has evoked no confidence among the fanbase or showcased a distinct footballing identity that would instil some confidence.

There appear to be none or a very small chunk of the supporters who want the Belgian to stay which makes the silence and inaction from the club all the more surprising.

Had there been a vocal minority of fans wanting Clement to be given more time, it would be understandable why the board are not jumping into action.

However, now it’s unjustifiable and they appear to be waiting for things to get worse before pulling the trigger.
