'Danny Ward will never play for Leicester again' after what he did vs Newcastle

Leicester City fans have demanded that Danny Ward never play for the football club again after his performance against Newcastle on Saturday (14 December).

Ruud Van Nistelrooy suffered his first defeat since taking charge of the Foxes as they were comfortably beaten 4-0 at St. James’ Park after Jacob Murphy’s brace and goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak.

Van Nistelrooy was forced to change his goalkeeper at halftime after Mads Hermansen suffered an injury, with Ward making his first Premier League appearance of the season from the bench.

The 31-year-old ended up conceding three goals in the 45 minutes that he played, with Leicester fans less than impressed by the Wales international.

Ward was only accurate with 56 percent of his passes, while he only managed to be successful with six out of his 14 long balls throughout the second half.

Supporters were quick to urge the new Leicester boss not to play Ward in the future if Hermansen’s injury is a serious one.
