Director at Euro club likely to join Everton board post Friedkin takeover - report

Analaura Moreira-Dunkel and Marc Watts are likely to take up positions on the Everton board once the Friedkin Group takeover is finalised, according to TBR.

The news outlet reported on 15 October that the duo are already on the board of Roundhouse Capital, which has been incorporated by Toffee Investments LLC.

Moreira-Dunkel is a director at Roma and so is Watts who’s also part of the club’s executive committee, per the official website.

Everton could have other directors from Roma moving to Merseyside

It seems that the plan of the Friedkin Group is to take some of the people calling the shots at Roma and bring them over to Goodison Park.

Rather than being involved in both clubs, Dan Friedkin will perhaps delegate the running of the Toffees to Moreira-Dunkel and Watts, among others.

Thus far, only the initial steps have been taken and there will be more clarity closer to when the Premier League issues the green signal.

While there are shareholder loans to be dealt with, they are unlikely to cause any issues with the takeover going ahead.

Hopefully, the Friedkins can bring a professional outlook to Merseyside and help Everton realise their true potential.
