Doctor View: Bundesliga attacker likely to pass medical if needed as Everton eye new transfer

Werder Bremen attacker Justin Njinmah is unlikely to fail his Everton medical despite recent injuries, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that while he suffered ankle and hip setbacks back to back, the 23-year-old does not necessarily come under the category of players prone to injuries.

This comes after German publication Kicker reported on 2 May that the Toffees, along with Wolves want to sign the German this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Njinmah:

He had a hip injury and then an ankle injury but it was nothing that required more intervention like a surgical procedure.

While he was unavailable for the last few games of 2023/24, it does not necessarily suggest he will be injury prone for the coming seasons.

He’s had what look to be some mild injuries and I wouldn’t expect that to impact his medical.

Everton must consider Justin Njinmah transfer

The Toffees should consider signing Njinmah due to his potential and versatility.

The 23-year-old forward has shown promise at Werder Bremen, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances this past season.

His speed and dribbling ability make him a threat in the final third and Sean Dyche would want a replacement for Arnaut Danjuma.

Everton stadium Goodison Park
New Everton owners are coming at Goodison Park.

The German’s age and talent fit the club’s strategy of buying young players to develop and potentially sell for profit and he could also be a valuable first-team addition.

In other Everton news, the club have been handed a green signal to sign an award-winning player with his agent confirming an exit is on the cards.
