Dyche 'Desperate' for exit-linked Everton ace stay as replacement's rival medical emerges - reports

Sean Dyche is desperate for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to stay at Everton despite the striker not signing a new contract, according to TEAMtalk.

The outlet reported via their website on 20 August that the England international has been offered a “sizeable” pay rise after entering the final 12 months of his deal but he has so far refused to agree to terms.

That makes a suddenly exit before the transfer deadline possible as Premier League clubs potentially looking to take advantage of the contract situation, with Manchester United reportedly still keeping tabs on his situation.

However, with Neal Maupay potentially leaving as well a Calvert-Lewin exit would leave a “major void” in Sean Dyche’s squad, but interest in Chelsea’s Armando Broja as a replacement is set to be disappointed.

The Albanian international is set to join Ipswich on a loan-to-buy deal potentially worth over £30million, with a medical now due imminently [Fabrizio Romano, 20 August].
