Everton are now over two months late in filing a confirmation statement to Companies House with the due date being 31 August 2024.
Every company must file this statement at least once a year to confirm information about the company is up to date, even if no changes have been made in the period between them.
The Toffees aren’t exempt from these rules and are currently 62 days late with Companies House confirming the statement is overdue.

There is plenty of change set to go on at Goodison with Dan Friedkin hoping to take over from Farhad Moshiri in the near future.
With that being said, The Esk suggested (16 October) that this statement delay is “a minor technical breach” due to “the governance within the club”.
This could point towards a deal with the Roma owner potentially moving closer although there is no guarantee of that.
Either way, this delay in sending official documents to Companies House does just go to show where the club are at and it isn’t in a positive sense.
With a potential takeover in the midst of a stadium change to Bramley-Moore Dock, supporters would hope that the club had all their ducks in a row.
That doesn’t appear to be the case right now but could all change if Everton becomes the top dog in the Friedkin Group’s multi-club model [Kieran Maguire].
In other Everton news, early Southampton team news has emerged as one player is definitely ruled out amid a sickness bug update.
